Art Walk artists sought
The city of Redmond is seeking artists to participate in downtown Redmond’s Walk the Art Beat July 17, 5-8 p.m. The theme is Western art and may be interpreted as country western as a lead-in to the Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo, or simply as life and landscapes in the West. Artists will be paired with downtown galleries and businesses to present their art. Participation is free and artists are encouraged to sell their art as part of the event. Ansel Adams exhibit at Maryhill Museum
Ansel Adams photographs will be on exhibit July 18 through Sept. 13 at the Maryhill Museum of Art, 35 Maryhill Museum Dr., Goldendale, Wash. Theater auditions for women

Free summer lunches
The Redmond School District, in conjunction with the Summer Food Service Program, will offer free lunch this summer to all children 18 and younger. Lunches include an entrée, sandwich or string cheese with bread, plus choice of fresh fruits, vegetables, milk and juice. Summer lunches will be served Monday through Friday, 11:45 a.m. to noon, through Aug. 21 (except July 3) at the following locations: Evergreen Elementary, Sam Johnson Park, and Terrebonne Community School.
