Thrifty Dog Sales
The Humane Society of Redmond will be holding five weekend sales Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 13 through Dec. 19. Donations of items for the sales are needed and can be dropped off at the shelter Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds from the sales will help support the shelter. Art and gifts for Christmas
The High Desert Society of the Arts will present the “Art of Christmas Sales Show” in conjunction with Redmond’s holiday celebrations. Fossil Beds news
John Day Fossil Beds National Monumnent has new winter hours at its visitor center: 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. seven days week, closed on federal holidays through February.
